Abbey Villa IV

Abbey Villa was formed in 1955.  Initially, the Club was know as Millisle Utd and competed in the Cardy League.  The Club then moved into the Churches League as Millisle Presbyterian.  In 1962, the Club had the vision to join the Northern Amateur Football League and adopted the name Abbey Villa.

Over the years, the Club has tried to maintain a presence in the DAWFL with a 3rd team and often a 4th team.  The Club has provided League officials including Robert Henderson, Billy Kirkwood and currently Conrad Kirkwood who is on the Committee.
